ALGS 2026 Schedule and Location
The 2026 Apex Legends Global Series Championship will be held in Sapporo, Japan. This city will host the major battle royale tournament for several years, providing a fitting and memorable location for one of esports’ most popular events.
The Apex Legends Global Series Championship 2026 will take place from January 15th to 18th, and despite the short timeframe, it’s going to be full of exciting events.
Here’s the full ALGS Champs 2026 schedule
Group Stage
From January 15th to 16th, the 40 teams will compete in a round-robin format, divided into ten groups. A total of 18 games will be played, and the results will determine which teams advance. The top 20 teams will move on to the winner’s bracket, while the remaining 20 will enter the loser’s bracket.
Bracket Stage
Starting January 17th, the competition moves to the bracket stage, beginning with the top 20 teams. The ten highest-ranked teams will go directly to the finals, and the remaining ten will compete in the losers’ bracket.
Next, the teams that lost earlier will compete. The top ten teams from this round will advance to the second round, while the bottom ten will be out of the tournament. After that, the third round will determine the final ten teams that move on to the championship, eliminating the remaining ten.
Finals
On January 18th, the final 20 teams will compete in a series of matches where the first team to reach 50 points wins.
