I just saw the first images of Sophie Turner as Lara Croft in the new Tomb Raider series on Amazon, and wow! For anyone who loved her in Game of Thrones, she looks amazing taking on this iconic role. I’m already so excited for the show!

Amazon is gradually sharing details about its upcoming Tomb Raider series, which has recently completed casting. The show will star Sigourney Weaver, Jason Isaacs, and Bill Paterson, though their specific roles haven’t been announced yet.

Fans were thrilled when Sophie Turner was announced as Lara Croft, making her the first actor cast in the series. Now, Amazon Prime Video has shared the first official look at Turner in the iconic Lara Croft costume.

Alicia Vikander is fantastic as Lara Croft, though it’s a little strange not seeing her with red hair, especially since she’s known for her fiery roles as Sansa Stark and Jean Grey.

Amazon’s recent success with the Fallout TV show has led them to invest heavily in adapting more video games for television. One upcoming project is a God of War series, and Ryan Hurst has been cast to play the iconic character, Kratos.

Amazon Prime Video’s Instagram page just revealed the first look at Alicia Vikander as Lara Croft.

We don’t have a release date for the Tomb Raider show yet, but it probably won’t be available until 2027 or later. Until then, fans can enjoy the one picture released of Taylor Turner as Lara Croft, or look forward to the two new Tomb Raider video games, which might come out before the show.
