Hideaway Flotsam Locations In Little Nightmares (Is Anybody Out There Achievement)

In The Runaway Kid, you’re trying to escape The Maw, just like Six did in Little Nightmares. As you explore and solve puzzles, you’ll find small bottles containing what appear to be messages – these are called flotsam. There are 15 flotsam bottles hidden within the Secrets of the Maw DLCs, and you’ll earn an achievement for every 5 you collect.

The Hideaway Flotsam Locations In Little Nightmares (Is Anybody Out There Trophy)

In the Hideaway chapter of Little Nightmares: Secrets of The Maw, you can find 5 collectibles called flotsams. Gathering all 5 will earn you the “Is Anybody Out There” Trophy. Be aware that getting one of the flotsams requires carefully sneaking past the Janitor.

Flotsam Location #1

At the start of the chapter, after you find the first three Nomes, open the top drawer of the dresser and interact with a Nome inside. Then, place both Nomes you have on the table and wait for them to knock over a box.

Okay, so I climbed onto the table and kept heading left. Then I jumped up to the window and climbed in. After that, I walked over to this pile of junk – looked like flotsam – and opened it up. Let’s see what’s inside!

Flotsam Location #2

Okay, so once you get the coal machine going, you’ll want to use the ladder to climb up. Then, there’s another ladder you need to take to get all the way to the top floor. It’s a bit of a climb, but worth it!

Before heading up the stairs, go under it and open the flotsam.

Flotsam Location #3

After the child hugged the two small creatures in the coal pit by the conveyor belts, move the cart to the left towards the shelves.

Climb the coal cart and go up the shelves to find the flotsam.

Flotsam Location #4

While you’re searching for a replacement battery, you’ll find the Kid in a dimly lit area with the Janitor.

Move slowly while evading the coals on the ground to eventually reach a staircase.

Go around back and open the container. Be gentle when you come out – if the bottle breaks, it will wake up the Janitor.

Flotsam Location #5

First, turn on the small elevator with two batteries. Then, head to the next room and use the blue filing cabinet to climb onto the table.

Climb the small drawers to get to the platform. Then, walk to the left edge and open the flotsam. Doing so will earn you the “Is Anybody Out There” achievement.
