Dragon Quest VII Reimagined comes out on February 5th. If you buy the Digital Deluxe Edition, you can start playing up to two days before that.

Can You Play Dragon Quest VII Reimagined on PS5?
Dragon Quest VII Reimagined launches on PlayStation 5 on February 5th, and you’ll have two ways to play it.
If you purchase the Standard Edition of the game, you’ll get a Blue Slime Shield as a bonus. The Digital Deluxe Edition offers even more – including 48 hours of early access, a new story chapter called ‘The Road of Regal Wretches,’ a special Luminary’s Livery, and the White Wolf Costume.
Getting this extra content will cost you, but the main benefit is being able to play the game before everyone else if you’re eager to jump in.
Can You Play Dragon Quest VII Reimagined on Xbox Series X|S?
Dragon Quest VII Reimagined is now available on Xbox Series X and S, and you can buy it in the same way as on PlayStation 5.
All the bonus items in the Digital Deluxe Edition are available on all platforms, meaning Xbox and PlayStation 5 players will receive the same perks, like access to the game 48 hours before its official release.
If you buy the game before March 4, 2026, you’ll receive an Early Bird Bonus: the Trodain Togs outfit and three Seed of Proficiency items.
Can You Play Dragon Quest VII Reimagined on Nintendo Switch or Switch 2?
Dragon Quest VII Reimagined is now available on Nintendo Switch, alongside other platforms, and can be purchased in the same way everywhere.
This offer includes a 48-hour head start for those who buy the Digital Deluxe version of the game. But the biggest benefit for Nintendo Switch fans is that the game will be released on Switch – it won’t be exclusive to any future, newer Nintendo console.
