How to Get Fancy Bow in Mewgenics

In Mewgenics, you can equip your cats with lots of different armor and items. These items can boost stats, add extra protection against damage, or give special bonuses during battles. As you might expect from this quirky game, many of these items are silly and a bit crude. One item that’s been puzzling players is the Fancy Bow. This guide will explain how to get it and what it does, based on current knowledge.

How to Get Fancy Bow in Mewgenics

In the game Mewgenics, you’ll receive the Fancy Bow early on as a gift. You get it by donating a single cat to Tink, a unique character found in the bottom left corner of the map screen accessible from your home.

Tink isn’t looking for just any cat—he specifically wants one of your kittens. Luckily, kittens are pretty easy to come by if you already have cats, which, since this game is all about breeding and battling cats, I assume you do!

When choosing a kitten for Tink, pick one with average or below-average stats. Kittens born from your strongest cats are likely to be powerful themselves – you’ll probably want to keep those! Tink would be happy with a smaller, weaker kitten.

After you get a kitten, place it inside the green tube near your house. Then, on the map that comes up, choose Tink. He’ll be grateful for the kitten and give you a Fancy Bow as a reward.

What Does the Fancy Bow Do?

Tink gives you a special bow and suggests it’s incredibly strong under certain conditions – ‘in the right light.’ But if you check the bow’s description in your inventory, it just says ‘It’s fancy,’ which doesn’t explain its potential power.

As of right now, it’s still unclear if the Fancy Bow actually does anything in the game, like boost your cat’s stats, or if it’s purely cosmetic. I suspect it might be one piece of a larger set of equipment that, when worn together, will unlock a special bonus. But that’s just a guess – we’ll need to wait and see what the player community discovers about the Fancy Bow’s true purpose.

We’ll update this post as soon as we have more information. In the meantime, if you have room, it’s best to hold onto the item – it might be very useful later on.
