How to Get the Stuffed Elephant Relic in Totenreich

The Stuffed Elephant relic is unique to the Totenreich map in Black Ops 7 Zombies. While it’s equipped, your health will take even longer to regenerate, making the Quick Revive perk incredibly important. However, getting the Stuffed Elephant prevents you from being able to use any perks initially.

Here’s how to unlock the Stuffed Elephant Relic, plus some helpful tips to make it to round 40. We’ve also included a map showing where to find all the Mr. Peeks eggs needed for the challenge!

You must be playing on Tier 1 or higher in Cursed Mode. You’re not allowed to use any benefits gained from rounds 1 through 40. This means absolutely no perks – no GobbleGums, T.E.D.D. Trials, Machines, or even temporary power-ups. Nothing that gives you an advantage is permitted.

How to Get the Stuffed Elephant Relic in Totenreich

You can unlock the Stuffed Elephant Relic by completing 40 rounds of Totenreich without buying any Perks. To do this, start on round 1 and don’t purchase any Perks until at least round 40. Once you reach round 40 without any Perks, the Relic Trial portal will appear behind Jugger-Nog on the Fishery Island map.

There are two ways to get the Stuffed Elephant Relic, and it’s tough to make it to Round 40 without Perks. First, buy the Echo 12 Shotgun from the Wallbuy at Eidskallen Landing. It’s a really good weapon for earning Essence, which you’ll need to buy Armor and Pack-a-Punch – both are allowed when trying to get the Relic.

Spend your points on Golden Armor (a powerful Tier 4 upgrade) to reduce the damage you take, especially since you won’t have the safety net of Jugger-Nog and Quick Revive. We suggest keeping your 1911, but don’t upgrade it yet. Without PhD Flopper, firing it will actually put you in more danger than the zombies!

Use the Echo 12 to eliminate zombies and earn points. Importantly, when you reach Round 40 and hear Mr. Peek’s laugh, immediately go to the Der Wunderfizz machine on Beacon Island and buy all the Perk-a-Colas.

In the meantime, let’s focus on actually making it to Round 40, to which we have two methods:

  1. Grab the Jotunn Star Wonder Weapon and head to the second floor of the Lighthouse. Here, you’ll want to use the Toxic Growth Field Upgrade with the Urticant Major Augment, and the Extra Charge and Ankle Shredder Minor Augments. Place down Toxic Growth and swing-spam the Jotunn Star to clear rounds with ease.
  2. In the south area of Beacon Island, you can find a Flammenfalle trap. Every 60 seconds, you can deploy the Flammenfalle from the panel on the wall, and sit in the corner to watch all zombies instantly die as they touch it, but Necropincers will still need your attention.

If you get knocked down, you can use Self-Revive Kits, which you can make at the Crafting Table. For a fast escape, we suggest Disciple Injections, and the Kneehigh Helm can give you a short period of invincibility.

Once you get to Round 40, we suggest changing your Field Upgrade to Aether Shroud – it’ll be very helpful for the challenges ahead. Also, try to get your Perks as soon as possible. If you can only choose four, prioritize Jugger-Nog, Quick Revive, Stamin-Up, and PhD Flopper.

When you’re prepared to start the challenge, go to the red hut located behind Jugger-Nog on Fishery Island. Make sure to bring your upgraded (Pack-a-Punched) weapons – such as Mustang & Sally – because you’ll need to defeat four powerful enemies, which we’ll detail below.

In the Stuffed Elephant Trial, you have 3 minutes to locate and shoot a Mr. Peeks egg hidden on the map. Shooting it releases a high-value target (HVT). Successfully eliminating the HVT adds another 3 minutes to your time. Here’s how we completed the Trial.

How to Complete the Stuffed Elephant Trial in Totenreich

We started the challenge with all Perks activated, a fully upgraded Pack-a-Punch Mustang and Sally, the War Machine Scorestreak, Aether Shroud, and LT53-Kazimirs. We didn’t use any other weapons or items. The goal is to find and destroy Mr. Peeks’ eggs, then eliminate the High-Value Targets. Unlike other trials, there aren’t any zombie waves to fight through.

At the start of the trial, you’ll have three minutes to find and destroy an egg. Once you do, a powerful enemy will appear. Defeating this enemy will give you an extra three minutes of time. Each egg spawns in a specific location, which is marked on the map.

Okay, so I started my adventure on Fishery Island and zipped over to Skallen Market – it’s a really cool way to travel! I noticed this white house to the east, near the Stave Church, and it had a Mr. Peeks egg sitting right on the windowsill. Apparently, that first egg is important because it’ll spawn a Necropincer HVT – I’m excited to check that out!

Once we finished with the High-Value Target, we quickly headed to the Storm Bridge from Tyr’s Shoulder. The second Mr. Peeks egg is located on Tyr’s knee, across from the Ammo Crate. This egg will spawn a powerful Doppelghast enemy.

Next, head through the Core Foundry to the Dry Dock. Near Melee Macchiato, where the Mystery Box appears, you’ll find the third Mr. Peeks egg. It’s in the southern corner, resting on a steel beam. Hatching this egg will give you an Amalgam HVT.

Okay, so the last place we had to go was Beacon Island, and getting there using the zipline from Eidskallen Landing was awesome! I found the final Mr. Peeks egg on the lighthouse’s southwest railing – if you’re looking at the lighthouse from the south flak gun, it’s right there. Getting that fourth and final egg actually spawns a Zursa Bear HVT, which was a really cool surprise!

Okay, so I’ve figured out the easiest way to take down those High Value Targets. Seriously, if you use Mustang and Sally, then call in the War Machine scorestreak, they go down super fast – usually just one or two hits! But just to be safe, I always equip Aether Shroud and Kazimirs. That way, I don’t even have to worry about the zombies getting in the way while I’m focusing on the HVTs.

Final Thoughts on the Stuffed Elephant Relic (What Does it Do and Is It Worth It?)

The Stuffed Elephant isn’t a great choice for later stages of the game because it reduces your health regeneration rate. Getting hit while carrying it will make your health recover much slower than usual, even if you have Quick Revive, and the only way to quickly restore health is by using a Stim Shot.

To survive in later rounds, quickly regaining health is crucial because zombies deal a lot of damage very quickly. You need to heal faster than they can attack. While the Stuffed Elephant isn’t a great choice, feel free to use it if you enjoy a difficult and stressful game.
