How to Unlock All Cosmetics in REPO

Semiwork has launched version 0.4.0, also known as the Cosmetic Update! For months, players have used a mod to add customization options for their bots, but now there are over 500 cosmetics available directly in the game for REPO!

We’ll show you how to get cosmetics in this major REPO update, and give you the latest details on all the new vehicles racing onto the tracks – and what’s coming next!

How to Unlock Cosmetics in REPO

  • Cosmetics can now be found within Cosmetic Boxes, which are items that spawn randomly during levels.

As a collector, I’ve learned you can tell how rare a Cosmetic Box is just by looking at it! The color and how big the box is actually give you clues about its condition and rarity.

To open the Cosmetic Box, you need to extract it just like any other loot. Keep in mind that these boxes can be damaged, as they have a durability bar. You can repair this bar by holding the hand icon, which transfers health from you to the box.

If you successfully get the Cosmetic Box out of wherever it was hidden, you’ll earn Tax Tokens as a reward. The number of tokens you receive will vary depending on how rare the box is.

When you go back to the Shop, you can use the Taxman Machine (pictured above) to trade your Tax Tokens for a surprise cosmetic item. The machine will show you exactly which item you’ve unlocked. Every player receives one Tax Token, ensuring everyone gets a unique cosmetic.

Once you earn a cosmetic item, you keep it forever – it won’t disappear when you begin a new game.

How to Equip and Save Cosmetics in REPO

Checking out your cosmetics in the REPO is similar to how you used to change colors before the update. After you unlock your first cosmetic item, you’ll find a ‘Customize’ option on the main menu.

You can now customize your Semibot with new heads, bodies, arms, and legs before starting or joining a game. Once you’ve created a look you like, save it as a preset by selecting “Presets” at the top of the screen.

How to Get Vehicles in REPO

Along with fresh cosmetic items, Semiwork has added new vehicles to REPO. Now, your Semibots can drive around the maps and escape from monsters! You can buy these vehicles in the Shop.

  • Hauler (38-48K)
  • Scouter (18-20K)

Okay, so there are vehicles you can use to get around the maps faster, but honestly, they’re kinda tricky to control and fall apart easily. Plus, they run on battery, and bumping into stuff drains it fast! You really need to keep some recharge crystals with you, or you’ll be stranded.
