In the game, Character Pixels, found in the Neverness to Everness area, are used to collect items that strengthen your characters from special zones called Anomalies. You can trade these Pixels for character experience, resources for upgrading, abilities for Espers, cartridges, and Beetle Coins. Each run costs either 40 or 80 Pixels, depending on whether you want standard or double rewards. Because Pixels recharge slowly – only one every six minutes – it’s best to spend them wisely, particularly when you’re just starting the game.
How to Consume Character Pixels
You can mainly use Character Pixels by going into Anomaly Zones around Hethereau City. To find these locations, open the map, search for ‘Anomaly Zones’, and check the Map Index.
The Daily Quest menu is a fast way to find these. If you see a task that says “Consume Character Pixels,” simply select “Go,” and the game will take you right to where you need to be.
When you reach an Anomaly Zone, go inside and select a challenge. Before you start, you’ll be able to see how much it costs in Pixels, what weaknesses the enemies have, and what you might earn as a reward. Successfully complete the battle to get your materials.
Best Places to Use Character Pixels
Each Anomaly Zone gives you different items to improve your gear, so it’s best to use your Pixels where they’ll help you the most based on what you need right now.
Houdinii’s Magic Stage
Houdinii’s Magic Stage is a key place to get character experience, Arc experience, and Beetle Coins. It’s especially helpful early in the game because quickly leveling up your characters makes it much easier to advance through the story.
Bubble Can Factory
Bubble Can Factory gives you the materials needed to power up your Arcs. These materials, called Arc Ascension materials, let you make your Arcs stronger and gain even bigger stat boosts.
We offer a variety of materials, so please select the right one for the Arc you’re upgrading.
Houdinii’s Schemes
Houdinii’s Schemes rewards you with materials used to enhance your character’s special abilities. These become particularly valuable as you develop more powerful teams for the later stages of the game.
If your damage starts falling behind, upgrading Esper abilities can make a huge difference.
Rabbit Hole
Rabbit Hole is the primary location for farming Cartridges, gaining Cartridge experience, and collecting Carrotas. It features several different resource nodes, each offering unique sets of Cartridges.
How Character Pixel Recovery Works
Your character is made up of pixels that slowly refill over time. Each pixel restores every six minutes, meaning it takes about 24 hours to fully recover all 240 pixels. Because this process is slow, logging in regularly throughout the day helps you make the most of your pixel regeneration and avoid losing progress.
You can also bring back Character Pixels with De-noise Solution items. Each item immediately restores 60 Pixels, but you can’t go over the maximum Pixel limit.
You can also use Annulith to recover resources, but it’s generally best to avoid doing so unless you’re trying to advance quickly or obtain items from events that won’t last forever. Keep in mind you can only use Annulith to refresh Pixels six times each day.
