The HUAWEI Watch Fit 5 Series is now available for pre-order in South Africa. It was unveiled last week at a HUAWEI event in Bangkok, along with the NOVA 15 Max, and will soon be available for purchase locally.
The HUAWEI Watch Fit 5 is available for R3,499 in Purple, Black, White, and Silver. If you’re looking for the Pro version, it starts at R4,999 and comes in White, Black, and Orange.
According to HUAWEI’s website, the watches should be available before May 20th, suggesting they plan to release them in the next few weeks.
If you order a HUAWEI Watch Fit 5, you’ll receive a free pair of HUAWEI FreeBuds i7. Pre-ordering the Watch Fit 5 Pro gets you a free pair of HUAWEI FreeClip earphones instead.
The HUAWEI Watch Fit 5 has a bright and vibrant 1.82-inch AMOLED screen. For a more premium experience, the Watch Fit 5 Pro upgrades to a larger 1.92-inch AMOLED display and adds extra protection with durable Sapphire Glass.
Both watches now include HUAWEI’s Mini-Workouts, allowing you to do quick exercises at home, even while sitting or in limited space. The Watch Fit 5 Pro adds features like ECG for assessing diabetes risk and a 40M Freedrive mode. It also has an upgraded 471mAh battery and dynamic watch faces powered by a new GPU. Plus, you’ll benefit from fall detection and an SOS function for emergencies.
