Seriously, the possibilities feel endless. You can raise a family, live the ranch life with horses, or even become a world-renowned doctor. It’s amazing how much control you have – you design your homes, choose your meals, and even manage the everyday stuff. And the best part? You don’t even have to play as a human! You can be a fairy, a mermaid, a werewolf, or a vampire – it’s all there. I have a feeling if you explore space, you’ll find even more ways to play!
The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim Special Edition
A Game That Will Stay Relevant For Years

One of the best parts is the incredible modding community – they’ve made expansions that feel like official content! You could easily spend hours just browsing mods, but the core game itself is packed with content and will keep you entertained for a long time.
In The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim Special Edition, players can create characters with vastly different personalities and fighting styles, which significantly affects how the game plays and encourages multiple playthroughs. Beyond the main story, you’re free to pursue side quests or even quirky activities like collecting cats. The game offers incredible character customization, letting you adjust everything from muscle mass and even change your character’s appearance mid-game to prepare for challenges.
Planet Zoo

If you love animals, especially adorable ones, you’ll definitely enjoy Planet Zoo! As another animal enthusiast, I keep returning to this game, which is available on Steam for $44.99. There are also lots of expansion packs if you want to build a zoo with every animal imaginable – and be warned, it’s easy to get carried away and buy them all!

Ranch Simulator

Feeling stressed by city life? Then Ranch Simulator might be exactly what you need. It lets you escape to your family’s neglected farm, where you’ll quickly get a taste of country living – complete with the sights and smells of a working farm! You can download it on Steam for $24.99, and there are already two expansions available, with a third one coming soon – Highland Cow fans will especially love it.
In Ranch Simulator, you’re free to play however you want. You can skip the tutorials and quests if you prefer and just dive into building your dream ranch. Your Chance To Prove You’ll Survive A Zombie Apocalypse
Once Human is a surprisingly high-quality free game that will impress you after just an hour of play. It’s available on Steam with optional purchases, but you can enjoy the full experience without spending any money. I found myself completely absorbed in the game, much like with Minecraft. It’s the kind of game that makes you worried about leaving your computer, because even a weak enemy can be dangerous when you’re not there to quickly defeat them.
Okay, so in Once Human, you can basically tweak everything. Right from the start, I can really make my character look how I want – it’s super detailed and feels realistic. I even love that I can ditch the armor visually if I just want to admire my character’s design! Building a base is awesome too – I can use pre-made templates or go totally custom, placing every single tile exactly how I like. Then I decorate with stuff I find – blueprints unlock furniture and trophies. And the weapons? I can craft them myself! The enemies are seriously cool too, they look like they stepped right out of The Substance. Honestly, I feel like everything in this game is about making it my own. Plus, the map keeps growing, so I’ll have to adapt and change things up, which keeps it interesting!
Planet Coaster 2
Calling All Adrenaline Junkies
If you love the excitement of theme park rides – that feeling of being launched at high speed in a comfortable seat – you’ll likely enjoy Planet Coaster 2. Good news for Xbox Game Pass members: it’s included in the subscription! If you don’t have Game Pass, you can buy Planet Coaster 2 for $49.99. There are also deluxe ($64.99) and premium ($93.55) editions available, which include extra content.
In Planet Coaster 2, you have incredible control over every aspect of your park, from the food served at stalls to the colors of your coasters. If you enjoyed the first Planet Coaster, you’ll love the expanded possibilities. New players can even design coasters guaranteed to send riders flying – if that’s your style! But building thrilling rides is only part of the fun. You’ll also need to keep your guests happy by providing food, drinks, restrooms, and plenty of souvenirs. How you manage your park is entirely up to you. You can play in a sandbox mode and focus purely on creativity, or tackle scenarios where you’ll try to rescue a struggling park from financial ruin. Either way, the possibilities are endless.
