Embark Studios just dropped a new patch on May 12th, and it finally fixes that issue where a bunch of us weren’t getting our Skill Points after the Expedition event. It started popping up on May 11th, and honestly, it was a bit frustrating. But Embark was quick to respond, and it looks like everything’s back to normal now. I’m glad they sorted it out so quickly!

In ARC Raiders, players used to get up to five Skill Points when they started a new account – a process called “departing.” These points permanently boost stats like stamina and fighting ability. Recently, the game changed how these Skill Points are earned, now awarding them based on how much damage players inflict on enemies. While most players liked this change, it caused some debate, leading the developers to extend the third in-game event. Soon after, another problem arose: some players weren’t receiving their earned rewards.

Embark Studios has fixed a bug in ARC Raiders update 1.28.0 that was preventing some players from receiving Skill Points. While the fix is live, the developers are still working to find everyone who was affected and will be adding the missing points to their accounts manually over the next few days. This isn’t the first time Embark Studios has addressed problems like this – they’ve previously issued refunds for items lost due to cheaters or server issues.

A new set of items, The Castaway Set, is now available in the store! The third and final update for the Patchwork outfit is also live for players who completed their Caravans. We’re aware some players were missing skill points after finishing an expedition, and while we’ve fixed the problem, we’re still working to give those affected players their missing points over the next few days.
