Will Serfort Joins the Grim Generation of Mages

Rosty Nowman May Still Be Alive

I’ve been learning about the incredibly skilled mages known as the Grim Generation in Wistoria: Wand and Sword. They’re all graduates of Rigarden Magical Academy – names like Will Serfort, Colette Loire, Lihanna Owenzaus, Sion Ulster, Julius Reinberg, and Wignall Lindor. I understand they really stood out during their final exams at the Academy, called the All-Student Praxis, and even more so when they defended the capital city during the attack by Headless and Marze – a dangerous event known as the Terminalia incident.

The members of the Grim Generation started as competitors, but facing challenges together in the underground dungeon and learning to respect each other led to a stronger bond. They still playfully tease and compete, but now work much better as a team.

The circumstances surrounding Rosty Nowman’s death are still a puzzle. Despite seemingly sacrificing himself to save Will Serfort from a powerful enemy, he unexpectedly appeared in Episode 5 of Wistoria: Wand and Sword, looking perfectly healthy. He observed Will’s graduation from afar, clearly pleased with his progress. This has led to theories that Rosty has a hidden connection to Will’s family or guardians, suggesting he may be more important to the story than previously thought.

Will Serfort Enters the Magia Vander’s Tower

Wistoria: Wand and Sword Season 2 Episode 6 Plot

Will Serfort hopes to become a renowned Magia Vander, similar to Elfaria, who achieved fame by developing groundbreaking magical spells. His chances are looking better now that he’s been accepted into the Magia Vander’s Tower, bringing his dream within reach.

In Episode 6 of Wistoria: Wand and Sword, Will Serfort, along with the other members of the Grim Generation, will enter the tower to participate in a ritual. During this ritual, each of the Magia Vander factions will bestow a blessing. Those who don’t receive a blessing won’t be immediately ejected from the tower, but they will face penalties or restrictions based on their current status. Sadly, it appears Will Serfort and Julius Reinberg might not be so lucky and could miss out on receiving a blessing.
