I’m so hyped for Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 34! It’s coming out on May 20, 2026, in V-Jump Issue #6, and it’s kicking off a brand new arc! Honestly, I think this is where we really see the next generation of Konoha shinobi come into their own. They’ve already shown incredible power – seriously, they blew past the old generation during the Mamushi arc – and the Shinju attack was the perfect chance for them to prove it. But this new arc? I have a feeling they’re going to reach a whole new level and completely surpass everyone before them. I can’t wait to see what happens!
Boruto’s Mamushi Arc Officially Confirms Shinju-Rivaling Power Of Konoha’s New Generation
The Mamushi arc in the Boruto: Two Blue Vortex manga started with chapter 26 on September 19, 2025, and concluded with chapter 33 on April 20, 2026. The story revolved around Shinju Mamushi’s attempt to reach and absorb Eida, leading him to attack Konoha. This prompted the new generation of Konoha ninja to fight, where they demonstrated abilities comparable to those of the Shinju.
Okay, I’ve made up my mind – I have to catch a Mamushi snake. Seriously, just one will do! It’s what I need to do right now. – Inojin Yamanaka, from Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 33
The original ninja from Naruto’s generation were incredibly strong, but the threats in Two Blue Vortex are far greater. This new level of danger is highlighted by how much stronger the current generation of Konoha ninjas are. Take Team 7, for example – the new version is significantly more powerful than the original. Boruto possesses the power of Momoshiki, and Kawaki wields the strength of Isshiki. These two alone are more than a match for the previous Team 7, and with the addition of Sarada Uchiha and Mitsuki – both incredibly powerful, particularly Sarada with her potent Ohirume Mangekyo Sharingan – the difference is even more pronounced.
How Team 7 And Team 10 Have Surpassed The Previous Generation
It’s not surprising that the new Team 7 is stronger than the original. Fans of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex anticipated great things from them, and chapter 33 proved they’re incredibly powerful. Boruto demonstrated impressive swordsmanship by easily defeating numerous Mamushi clones, while Sarada obliterated around 15-20 clones with a single use of her Ohirume ability. Kawaki performed just as well. Even at their best, it would have been difficult for Naruto’s original Team 7 to achieve this level of power, and fans are starting to realize that.
Something’s definitely happening – the barriers are down! Look, the sand is all converging in one place… it’s like it’s being pulled in! – Mitsuki, reacting to Sarada’s Ohirume in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 20
Chapter 33 of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex revealed something particularly exciting: Team 10 – Inojin Yamanaka, Shikadai Nara, and Chocho Akemichi – has become significantly stronger than their parents. This was a major surprise for fans. Each member has greatly improved, with Shikadai demonstrating an incredibly powerful Shadow Possession technique, even able to restrain a being as strong as Mamushi, who is at the Otsutsuki level.
In the latest chapter of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex, Chocho demonstrated impressive power by defeating several copies of Mamushi, a feat that exceeds the abilities of Choji and Karui given that Mamushi’s strength doesn’t decrease when he clones himself. Meanwhile, Inojin used his Mind-Body Transfer technique on all of Mamushi’s clones and ultimately delivered the final blow. Defeating a Shinju proves Inojin is an exceptionally skilled ninja, surpassing the levels achieved by both of his parents, Ino and Sai.
Konoha’s New Generation Will Surpass Otsutsuki Level In Two Blue Vortex
I was so thrilled to see Kishimoto and Ikemoto really showcase Team 7 and Team 10’s strength in the Mamushi arc – it officially wrapped up in V-Jump Issue #6 on April 20, 2026! But what has me really excited is the next arc, starting May 20, 2026, because it sounds like we’re going to see even more development for the Konoha shinobi. The Boruto fandom, including me, has seriously high hopes for what’s coming next!
I have a feeling a unique situation is developing—one that only you and Sarada are equipped to handle. That’s why I trained you both. — Sasuke Uchiha to Boruto, in Two Blue Vortex Chapter 3
With the upcoming arc focusing on Hidari in Boruto: Blue Vortex, Sarada Uchiha deserves significant development alongside Boruto Uzumaki. Considering Sasuke’s importance to both of them, they should be central to the story, giving them a chance to become even more powerful and overcome the major threats the Naruto universe faces. While characters like Kawaki also need attention, hopefully Mitsuki will get some spotlight too. Fans are eagerly awaiting chapter 34 to see how these characters progress.
Behind the scenes, Mikio Ikemoto is preparing powerful new abilities for other ninjas from Konoha. It’s been surprising to see this unfold. Himawari Uzumaki, who didn’t get much focus earlier in the Boruto series, is now becoming a key character, and her skills are constantly improving. She made huge progress with her healing techniques in the last story arc, and many fans are hoping she’ll get more opportunities to shine – perhaps even facing off against the Shinju. Like several other characters, she’s on track to become stronger than the previous generation. While some longtime Naruto fans might find that hard to accept, it’s exciting to see these ninjas grow and reach new heights.
The characters from Naruto are beloved by fans, and the series offers a unique and unforgettable story for millions worldwide. While the original team was incredible, it’s clear the newer generation of Konoha ninjas have become even more powerful.
The next chapter of the Boruto: Two Blue Vortex manga, chapter 34, will be available in V-Jump Issue #6 and on Manga Plus on May 20, 2026. It’s created by Masashi Kishimoto and Mikio Ikemoto.
