In Directive 8020, episode 3 (No Games), you play as Cernan and must sneak past a fake William to restore power to the Control Room door and escape. Getting caught has significant consequences for the story. This guide will show you how to successfully restore power and avoid detection by William.
How to Restore Control Room Door’s Power in Directive 8020 Episode 3 (No Games)
When players begin episode 3 of Directive 8020, they’ll see a scene of William pursuing Cernan through a hallway. Once the scene finishes, carefully move forward, staying hidden behind cover. Look for a boarded-up window on the left side of the hallway, and use your Utility Strap to open it.
When you enter the room, stay low to avoid alerting the infected William. Carefully move around to the right side where you’ll find a broken window you can jump through. Once inside, use the Utility Strap on the panel in front of you to lift the lockdown.
Okay, so in Directive 8020, episode 3 (‘No Games’), they finally fixed the power to the Control Room door! If I need to get back to the main area quickly, there’s a vent on the left I can use – it’s a quick loop around. Then, all I have to do is jump across the window and head straight for that newly powered Control Room door. Easy enough!
Getting caught by William during the ‘No Games’ part of episode 3 can have serious consequences later in Directive 8020. If you’re playing in Explorer mode, you can use the Turning Point feature to retry that section if it happens.
