MicroProse has revealed Battlespace Command, a new, realistic military strategy game. Players will command all aspects of modern warfare across massive battlefields – some stretching over six million square kilometers.

Battlespace Command aims to deliver a comprehensive military experience for real-time strategy (RTS) players. Players can command everything from ground troops and drones to missiles, aircraft carriers, tanks, and naval fleets. The game will launch with 50 different nations to choose from, and over 250 unique unit types to deploy.

Wirraway Software, the team behind popular mobile strategy games like Pacific Fire, Blitzkreig Fire, and Redfire, is now creating Battlespace Command, a visually impressive real-time strategy game.

Battlespace Command could become a major force in the military real-time strategy genre. Though a release date hasn’t been revealed yet, the game appears to offer a wealth of features, giving players comprehensive control over worldwide battles.

This real-time strategy game lets you command forces on the battlefield using advanced technology like radar, communications, and electronic warfare. You’ll deploy a variety of units – from infantry and helicopters to powerful bombers, ships, and ballistic missiles – to achieve victory.

Battlespace Command is a single-player game offering a wide range of combat experiences, from intense city fighting to massive battles across enormous landscapes. The game, as described on its Steam page, will feature incredibly large battlefields – up to 6,250,000 square kilometers – built using real-world geographic data and featuring environments that can be destroyed during gameplay, including destructible cities.

I’m so hyped for this game! Apparently, you’ll be able to play as over 50 different countries right when it comes out, and they’re already planning to add even more later on. What’s really cool is that each nation will have its own special abilities and unique equipment – it’s going to make each playthrough feel totally different!

Battlespace Command has many promising features, but its ability to seamlessly switch between a detailed 3D battlefield view and a tactical map is particularly noteworthy. This map utilizes realistic simulations of how sensors and signals would actually behave.
