New leaks have confirmed even more LEGO Pokémon sets are on the way, including three designs that haven’t been mentioned before. The initial LEGO Pokémon sets created a huge buzz online and quickly sold out when pre-orders became available. This was predictable, considering both LEGO and Pokémon are popular on their own – together, they’re a powerful combination. Following the release of the first four sets on Pokémon Day 2026, rumors have been circulating about several more sets coming this summer.
LEGO is planning a huge wave of new sets for Summer 2026, including both licensed properties and original designs. While the introduction of LEGO’s Smart Brick caused some debate due to a price increase in sets that include it, more sets this year will feature ‘Smart Play’ technology. Leaks have confirmed four new Pokemon sets will be among them. In addition, we’re expecting at least four regular LEGO sets to be released on August 1st.
LEGO Leak Details Three All-New Pokemon Sets, Confirms Five More
The LEGO news site Brick Built Blogs recently revealed details about eight upcoming LEGO Pokémon sets planned for release in 2026. Three of these sets are brand new and haven’t been seen online before. Here’s a list of the sets:
- 18+ Sets:
- Munchlax, set number 72150
- Poke Ball with minifigures, set number 72154
- Arcanine, set number 72160
- Rayquaza, set number 72168
- Smart Play Sets:

- Mew, set number unknown (starts with 721)
- Bidoof, set number unknown (starts with 721)
- Garchomp, set number unknown (starts with 721)
So, it turns out all the adult-themed sets that leaked, plus that Jigglypuff singing set, we’d already seen floating around or heard whispers about. But honestly, the real shockers were the Mew, Bidoof, and Garchomp sets – those were totally out of the blue and I’m super excited about them!

Mew and Bidoof are both well-known Pokémon – Bidoof even has its own animated short! Garchomp is consistently ranked as a fan favorite, but surprisingly, it hadn’t received a dedicated set until now. Recent leaks have revealed that sets are coming for all three Pokémon – Mew, Bidoof, and Garchomp – and they’ll all include Smart Play features.
New LEGO Pokémon sets planned for 2026 will include several popular characters. Recent images shared on Brick Built Blogs reveal sets featuring Cubone and Gengar, Charmander and Geodude, and Jigglypuff. These sets will also incorporate ‘Smart Bricks’ and features, which LEGO has been increasingly using in its products.
The idea makes a lot of sense, considering every Pokémon has a distinct sound. These sounds could be added to the Smart Play features to create a more engaging experience. While it’s still unknown what the Mew, Bidoof, and Garchomp sets will include, they’re likely to become popular with fans, based on the Pokémon chosen. In the meantime, fans can get a sneak peek at the LEGO Pokémon Arcanine set, which is scheduled for release in Summer 2026, as images of its box have also appeared online.
