Solo Leveling: 7 Strongest Characters That Could Solo the Demon Castle

Beating all 100 floors of the Demon Castle in Solo Leveling is incredibly difficult. Even Sung Jinwoo, with his strong shadow army, spent days battling powerful monsters within the castle. Adding to the challenge, four extremely dangerous bosses guarded the castle, each with abilities that would easily defeat any normal hunter.

Even though Sung Jinwoo was able to defeat the Demon Castle in Solo Leveling, several other characters in the series are incredibly powerful and could likely do it themselves. These characters are far stronger than Sung Jinwoo was when he first cleared the castle, possessing abilities that greatly surpass his at that point in the story.

7. Thomas Andre Is the Strongest Force in America

Thomas Andre, from Solo Leveling, is far more powerful than any hunter in America. Before Sung Jinwoo became well-known, Andre was considered the most dominant hunter internationally. He’s famously ranked number one among the five National Level Hunters who fought and defeated Kamish, the Dragon of Destruction – even managing to pull the dragon down from the sky with his own strength.

Thomas Andre serves as a powerful host for a ruler, granting him incredible fighting ability. He possesses immense strength, easily demolishing buildings – even the shockwaves from his punches create strong winds and can trigger earthquakes.

These attacks work particularly well in big battles, like when fighting at the Demon Castle with tons of monsters. If he doesn’t feel like a long fight, he can grow bigger and boost his power to quickly defeat his enemies.

6. Liu Zhigang Is the Peak of Human Swordsmanship

Liu Zhigang, like Thomas Andre, is a national hero in China. He’s a highly skilled hunter, achieving the rare 7-star rank. Reaching this level requires extraordinary ability – something only a handful of people, including Andre and Sung Jinwoo, have accomplished.

Liu Zhigang is famous for his incredible skill with a sword. He can effortlessly defeat large groups of dangerous mutated ants, while other hunters struggle with just one. He’s even capable of taking down giants with a single blow. Given his amazing power, it’s clear Liu Zhigang has the ability to conquer the Demon Castle using only his sword.

5. Christopher Reed Is a Cataclysmic Fire User

In the world of Solo Leveling, Christopher Reed is a master of fire magic. His abilities are much stronger than those of Choi Jong-In, allowing him to effortlessly incinerate enemies and break through any defense. He’d likely enjoy battling through the Demon Castle, quickly defeating hordes of monsters with his powerful flames.

Although Christopher Reid couldn’t fully demonstrate his power in Solo Leveling, his status as a Ruler’s vessel and one of the top three National Level Hunters proves he’s incredibly strong. Being forced to fight three monarchs simultaneously was simply too much, not because he was weak, but because the challenge was insurmountable.

4. Siddharth Bachchan Is a World-Class Hunter

I was really struck by how Siddharth Bachchan was mentioned alongside hunters like Thomas Andre, Liu Zhigang, and Christopher Reed – all top performers at the national level. It really highlights just how strong and capable he is as a hunter himself.

Siddharth is from India and dedicated to helping others, always doing his best to rescue people when he can. He has a strong desire to be a hero, which is fitting for someone as powerful as him – he’s strong enough to protect those who are vulnerable. Even though he doesn’t get much focus in Solo Leveling, his status as one of the world’s strongest hunters means he could easily conquer the Demon Castle on his own.

3. Beru Becomes a Fearsome Marshal Grade Shadow

The main things that might stop Beru from completing the Demon Castle on her own are either running out of stamina during a long battle or Sung Jin-Woo’s ability to keep his shadow army active. The castle constantly drains a person’s magical energy by sending waves of monsters at them, so Beru could eventually get too tired to continue.

I’ve been watching Beru, and his current strength level – a Marshal-class shadow grade – is seriously impressive. It looks like he could practically speedrun through most of the Demon Castle. Honestly, beating the bosses wouldn’t even seem like a challenge for him. Knowing him, he’d take on the Demon Castle not just as a mission, but as a personal point of honor – he wouldn’t want to let Jin-Woo down.

2. Cha Hae-In Is an Underrated Powerhouse

Throughout much of Solo Leveling, Cha Hae-In doesn’t consistently stand out as a powerful fighter. Still, she has some remarkable moments, like surprisingly defeating Igris—who was using Sung Jin-Woo’s powerful Demon King’s Longsword—and successfully battling Kandiaru, buying enough time for Sung Jin-Woo to wake up.

Cha Hae-In is a very powerful hunter, ranked S-class. Even Chugong recognized her potential to conquer the Kargalgan A-rank dungeon alone, and that was before she became even stronger in Solo Leveling: Ragnarok.

1. Sung Suho Is the Heir to Absolute Power

In the world of Solo Leveling, all the men in the Sung family are incredibly powerful, and Sung Suho is continuing that tradition. Being the son of Sung Jinwoo and Cha Hae-In, he was born with amazing abilities and a huge amount of potential.

Sung Suho became incredibly powerful very quickly, surpassing the abilities of most hunters. Given his rapid growth, it wouldn’t be long before he could easily conquer each level of the Demon Castle and defeat its powerful bosses.
