I’m so excited! Pokemon TCG Pocket just announced their next booster pack, Paradox Drive, is coming out on May 27th! It’s all about those awesome Paradox Pokemon we first saw in Scarlet and Violet. But that’s not all – they’re also adding a completely new way to play the game, letting us build even cooler and more creative decks. I can’t wait to try it out!
Although some details about the Paradox Drive booster pack were revealed early, the official announcement still includes exciting new cards and suggests powerful combinations that will likely appeal to Pokemon TCG Pocket fans.

The new Paradox Drive expansion lets players build stronger decks by combining Ancient and Future cards with others of the same type, but the details haven’t been fully revealed yet. Based on how Ultra Beasts were handled in Pokemon TCG Pocket, we can expect special Trainer cards that will boost the abilities of Paradox Pokemon. Players will need to wait until the expansion is released to see how all these cards work together.

Raging Bolt is a powerful card from the Paradox Drive set, but it requires a lot of energy to use. Players need to attach two Water, two Electric, and one Colorless Energy – a total of five – to activate its attack. The payoff is huge, though: Raging Bolt can instantly knock out any opposing Pokémon, no matter how much HP it has. This means it can defeat any card in Pokemon TCG Pocket in a single hit.
