PC gamers can get two psychological horror games, Rose and Cross and Madness Inside, for free on Itch.io. Both games have received good reviews on Steam. They were created in 2024 by ZV Games, an indie studio that specializes in atmospheric, story-driven horror games for PC.

Compared to Rose and Cross, Madness Inside appears to have more complex gameplay and interaction. Players become a detective stuck in a haunted asylum, and must solve puzzles and evade frightening, doll-like enemies to escape.
