How to Complete the Gunslinger Challenge in 007 First Light

The fourth mission in 007 First Light has several difficult challenges, and two of them involve completing the Shooting Range, found in the game’s black market area.

To succeed, you’ll first need to understand the location, entry cost, and target sequence, so you aren’t caught off guard. Fortunately, we’ve provided all of that information in this guide.

How to Take on the Shooting Range Challenge and Hit All Targets in 007 First Light

At the start of the fourth mission, ‘The Past Never Dies,’ once you’re in the market area, go east to find a yellow shipping container. Go inside, walk past the truck full of weapons, and then use your Q-Lens to find a soldier you can steal from.

You’ll need $3,000 to access the Shooting Range. If you haven’t earned the auction fee yet, the quickest way to get the money is to pickpocket the soldier. Just use your Phone Dart to distract him first.

After you get past the guard, head to the back left side of the market to find Basim. He’ll let you use the shooting range for 3,000 dollars. Once you pay, you can start immediately – targets will appear one at a time in a specific order.

  • Right and Left (middle)

Remember to reload after firing five shots. You have a brief moment to do so before the next target appears, since your gun only holds eight bullets. Finally, the last two targets will show up simultaneously, so use the Focus ability (press L3) to slow down time and get both of them.

Once you successfully hit all 10 targets in the Shooting Range, you’ll complete the challenge and Basim will reward you with $30,000. You’ll also unlock the ‘Shoot ‘Em Up’ and ‘Gunslinger’ challenges!
