Boruto: Every New Jutsu of Boruto Uzumaki After The Timeskip, Ranked

I’ve been watching Boruto Uzumaki grow into an incredibly powerful ninja, and the recent three-year time skip really showed how much he’s developed. He’s not just physically stronger, but he’s also learned a ton of new techniques, training with both Sasuke and Kashin Koji. Honestly, he’s become a truly exceptional shinobi – I think Naruto and Minato would be incredibly proud of how far he’s come. We’ve already seen glimpses of his power, and even now, it’s clear he’s destined for greatness.

5. Chakra Concealment

Over the past three years, Boruto Uzumaki has dramatically improved his chakra control. He’s now able to completely hide his chakra, making it nearly impossible to detect him – similar to a skilled sensor ninja. This ability makes him a formidable and incredibly difficult opponent in battle.

4. Lightning Release: Purple Electricity Nagashi

Viewers of Boruto are aware of his talent with nature transformations, particularly Wind and Lightning Release. He’s developed several lightning-based Jutsu, with Thunderclap Arrow being one of his most powerful.

Following the time skip, Boruto has developed a powerful new Lightning Release technique. It closely resembles Sasuke’s Chidori Stream, even sharing similar hand seals. Many fans believe it’s a full-body version of Purple Electricity. During his fight with Bug, a new and powerful villain, Boruto used the technique’s hand signs to cover himself in a strong electrical current, delivering a significant shock. However, the attack wasn’t enough to defeat Bug, which is understandable considering Bug’s strength as a new and formidable opponent.

3. Natural Energy

Boruto, like his father Naruto, has the ability to draw on natural energy. Though not a traditional ninja technique, this energy offers him a lot of potential. We first saw this power during his battle with Code, and Boruto confirmed he can use it. It’s currently unclear if Boruto can fully enter Sage Mode, but he definitely can sense and even transfer natural energy to others. This ability could lead to powerful moves like a Rasengan enhanced with natural energy, and eventually, perhaps even full Sage Mode. While we don’t know for sure if he’s reached Sage Mode yet, he clearly has the foundation to develop this skill.

2. Flying Thunder God

Boruto has learned a fascinating technique called the Flying Raijin. Originally created by Tobirama and later perfected by Minato, the Flying Raijin was Minato’s signature move, and now Boruto is able to use it too.

Boruto can put his chakra into metal objects, creating a way to instantly teleport to their location, effectively bypassing distance. This ability is very risky, as fans saw with Minato, who used a similar power. While Boruto isn’t currently as skilled with this technique as Minato was, he has the potential to become much stronger with practice.

1. Rasengan Uzuhiko

Currently, Boruto’s most powerful technique is the Rasengan Uzuhiko. Unlike a traditional Rasengan formed in the hands, this Jutsu allows Boruto to surround himself with swirling chakra energy drawn directly from the planet. This energy is thought to be the core of the planet’s power. When Boruto touches his opponents, he transfers this rotational energy to them, causing significant disorientation and weakening them considerably.

Like a normal Rasengan, this technique can cause damage, but the effects are long-lasting. The damage persists until the planet stops rotating, as it draws energy directly from the planet itself. Alternatively, Boruto can end the effect himself to save his opponents. It’s an extremely powerful jutsu, and very few characters in the Boruto series could withstand it.
