In the year 2021, having received impressive reviews and strong sales, this roguelike game was also made available on Xbox and PlayStation systems, expanding the pool of players from various gaming platforms who could experience it.
Following the tremendous triumph of Hades for Supergiant Games, it wasn’t long before they began contemplating a follow-up title. Officially unveiled at The Game Awards in 2022, Hades II was announced.
Starting from May 2024, Hades II has been accessible on personal computers in its early release stage. Although no official confirmation was made about its availability on other platforms, there’s a widespread belief that it might eventually be launched on gaming consoles once the full version is released.

At present, the duration of the exclusive playing period for this game remains uncertain, as well as the specific dates when gamers can enjoy it on their Xbox and PlayStation systems. Given Nintendo’s marketing tactics, it may take some time before we have a clear answer about this.
As a die-hard fan, let me share my excitement about the upcoming Hades II! Remember when we caught a glimpse of it during Nintendo Direct last week? The gameplay video they unveiled for this isometric roguelike was truly captivating, and here’s what made it even more impressive – it runs at an incredibly smooth 60 frames per second!
Nintendo Switch 2 is launching on June 5, 2025. Hades II will also come out sometime during 2025.
