I was so excited when Embark Studios dropped the North Line update for ARC Raiders last week! It’s seriously a game-changer. They added this new map called Stella Montis, and it’s incredible – a super intense facility built right into the side of a mountain, way up high above all the other locations. It definitely adds a whole new level of challenge!
Stella Montis is a popular destination, attracting over 25 million visitors despite being a dangerous area known for player-versus-player combat and the new, powerful enemy called the Shredder.
ARC Raiders Players Love Stella Montis
Stella Montis feels very different from the other areas in ARC Raiders. While most maps show a broken, ruined world like Blue Gate and Buried City, Stella Montis is a pristine, high-tech, and scientific facility. It’s a challenging, industrial environment with narrow hallways, multiple floors, and lots of chances for player-versus-player combat.
Embark Studios recently shared that players have explored the new map over 25 million times! It’s quickly become a popular spot for player-versus-player battles, and that’s probably why so many people are checking it out. Plus, Stella Montis now has new quests and special loot you can only find there.
Players have defeated over 26,900 Matriarch enemies. Additionally, the Shredder, a recently added minor enemy, has knocked down over 2.2 million Raiders – that includes me!
It’s small but extremely mighty.
During the recent North Line update, players known as Raiders accidentally defeated themselves quite a bit. A whopping 37,218 were taken down by the new, incredibly powerful ‘Deadline’ mine, and another 117 met their end… by falling rocks.
That’s right – rocks. Embark has no idea how they did that either.
