Fans of the Dungeon Crawler Carl series have a new book to look forward to on May 12th! The next installment, featuring Carl, Donut, and their friends, will be released that day.

The upcoming collaboration between Magic: The Gathering and The Hobbit is one of the most exciting releases planned for 2026. Recently, Magic: The Gathering previewed several new cards from the set, featuring popular characters like Bilbo Baggins, Thorin Oakenshield, and Smaug. The expansion will also include reprints of existing cards, such as Arcane Signet, Wood Elves, and the famous One Ring. However, the decision to reprint The One Ring is now causing some disagreement within the Magic: The Gathering community.

The Black Clover manga has followed an exciting path to determine who would become the Wizard King, starting when the series began in 2015. After eleven years, the story reached its conclusion, overcoming several breaks in publication by the author. It officially ended in the Spring issue of Jump GIGA, released on May 1, 2026, with three final chapters, including Chapter 392. The story ultimately focused on Asta and Yuno’s pursuit of the Wizard King title. Both were exceptionally strong contenders, but only one could ultimately achieve the position.

As the story of One Piece progresses, creator Eiichiro Oda is slowly unveiling the mysteries of the Void Century. We’re learning about powerful figures from that time, like Joy Boy, and this latest arc in the land of the Giants has introduced some of their descendants. It seems Oda is also preparing to reveal even more legendary figures as the story unfolds.

I’ve been really into Tekken 8 since it came out on January 26, 2024. Bandai Namco has been consistently updating it with big patches and adding tons of new content through DLC. They just finished up season 2 in December 2025, and it’s been awesome seeing both familiar faces like Eddy Gordo and new characters like Miary Zo join the roster. Of course, no Tekken game is complete without a guest character, and this time around we got Clive Rosfield from Final Fantasy XVI which was a cool surprise! At the Tekken World Finals 2025 in January, Bandai Namco announced they’re already working on a third season of DLC, so the fighting’s far from over!

I’ve been really enjoying the new open-world RPG from the creators of Tower of Fantasy! It launched on April 29th, and everyone was talking about how it would blend the anime RPG style of games like Genshin Impact with the open-world freedom of Grand Theft Auto. And honestly, it delivers! You can do all sorts of side hustles in the city – I’ve been doing street races and even driving a taxi – and the combat is super fun, letting you switch between characters like in Genshin and Wuthering Waves. Just the other day, a fellow player shared some hidden spots in the city that give you a ton of in-game currency, Fons. It’s awesome when the community finds stuff like that!
