Resident Evil Requiem

Resident Evil Requiem is the newest game in the Resident Evil franchise and a great starting point for horror shooter fans on the PS5. The game features two separate storylines that players switch between as they play through the game.
The game introduces Grace Ashcroft, a new character stuck in a hospital, and her gameplay focuses on solving complex puzzles. Returning character Leon S. While some content requires purchasing expansions, you can still experience a significant portion of the main campaign in this excellent first-person shooter from Bungie, often considered one of the best of the last ten years. It offers a wide variety of gameplay, including a single-player story, cooperative missions, large-scale raids, and a competitive multiplayer mode.
Cyberpunk 2077

Cyberpunk 2077 is a detailed role-playing game played from a first-person perspective. It’s set in a huge, futuristic city where you design your own character and their background. I’m having a blast playing this game with my friends – it’s built for four-player co-op, and the world is totally open, so we can go anywhere. They’ve really fixed a lot of the bugs with updates, so Borderlands 4 feels super solid now. If you’re looking for a great open-world game to play with buddies, I’d definitely check this one out.
Far Cry 6

Okay, so the graphics aren’t amazing even with the remaster, but they still hold up really well on a PS5. And honestly, with The Mandalorian & Grogu coming out, now feels like the perfect time to revisit a great Star Wars game.
Ghostwire: Tokyo
The Dome
Ghostwire: Tokyo offers a unique setting: modern Tokyo, mysteriously sealed off from the outside world. The city is overrun by demons, and you play as Akito Izuki, who has supernatural abilities inherited from a lineage of magical monks. Your mission is to save Tokyo, but instead of using guns, you’ll fight using enchantments, elemental spells, and even a bow and arrow against the ghostly invaders.
As you play, you’ll unlock more weapons and magical abilities. Though it’s not the most fast-action shooter on the PS5, the game offers a distinctive way to explore and fight, and its setting really makes it stand out.
Prodeus
Doom Reborn
Prodeus is a great modern take on the classic ’90s shooter style, perfect for fans of games like Doom. The story is simple: you fight demons pouring out of portals to hell – very similar to the plot of Doom.
This game feels like the original Doom, but it’s a more polished and action-packed experience. You’ll have access to incredibly powerful weapons, and even wield two at a time! It’s perfect for PS5 players who want pure, fast-paced shooting action and enjoy seeing hordes of demons explode.
