In Crimson Desert, you can find the Dagger of Dark Pursuit at the Sanctum of Solace. This location is southwest of Pailune City, and on the map, it’s just to the right of the letter ‘A’ in ‘Pailune’.
The dagger is hidden inside a treasure chest, tucked behind a spinning stone wall in the corner of the Sanctum. It’s easy to overlook if you’re not specifically searching for it.
How to Get the Dagger of Dark Pursuit in Crimson Desert
As we discussed, you can find the Dagger of Dark Pursuit in the Sanctum of Solace. It’s located on the map right beside the letter “A” in Pailune.
- Head to the exact location shown on the map above.
- Look for a small rectangular pool of water in the middle of the Sanctum and head there. This will be the lowest part of the Sanctum, found near the stone bridge overlooking the deep chasm, right next to the broken tower.
- Drop down and open the treasure chest in the middle of the room to obtain the Dagger of Dark Pursuit.
Once you’re near the Sanctum, jump and use the Focus Palm ability three times to gain some height and get a bird’s eye view of the location.
Face the wall with the faded white graffiti and turn left.
Go past the floating stone puzzle piece and turn right.
Look up, and you’ll see the faint rectangular outline of a rotating stone wall.
Climb up the wall to this rectangular section and press Q/L2/LT to latch onto the surface, and then use Middle Mouse Button/R3 to use Force Palm to rotate the wall and reach the other side.
If you haven’t finished the Sanctum of Solace, don’t go into the round arena in the center—it will start a boss battle. Steer clear if you’re not ready for a fight!

The Dagger of Dark Pursuit is a powerful, epic dagger designed for Kliff. It has a unique, golden blade with an uneven shape, giving it a wild and raw appearance. Once fully upgraded, this dagger boosts your Attack by 38 and gives you an 8% Critical Rate, making it a top-tier weapon in the game.
This weapon doesn’t have any unique powers like the Goblin King’s Treasure Dagger; it simply deals standard damage and has a distinctive, tribal look.
A dagger’s damage and other benefits are only active when you use it to assassinate someone or perform a stabbing attack. A stab attack occurs when you attack with a blunt weapon, like an axe.
