The developers have worked hard to keep the characters looking like their original selves, but with a more updated and polished appearance for today’s players.
The game pays close attention to detail, from character appearances to the look of their armor, creating a truly immersive experience. These changes aren’t just cosmetic; the armor system itself has been revamped. For example, armor offering protection against frost will visually resemble clothing you’d actually wear to stay warm in cold weather.
Any one of these changes might seem minor, but together they show this remake is going all-out to beautifully recreate a classic game. It’s set to release later this year on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC, and it’s looking like a real treat for fans who’ve loved the original.
