Hideo Kojima, the mind behind Metal Gear, has disclosed that the concept for his upcoming game, Physint, was sparked by fans asking him to create something akin to Metal Gear. It’s been about ten years since Kojima parted ways publicly with Konami, his long-time employer. Despite launching his own studio and releasing Death Stranding, fans still hold out hope for a new Metal Gear installment, despite the fact that the intellectual property belongs to Konami. However, this hasn’t deterred Kojima from moving forward with his creative endeavors.
