The recent 1.06.00 update for Crimson Desert has added a lot of new mounts! You can now ride Wolves, Bears, Tigers, Kuku Birds, Ibexes, Warthogs, and more. If you want to make these mounts even better, you’ll need to upgrade them with Saddles.
Saddles offer only a little bit of protection, and there aren’t any other protective gear options right now, so don’t expect to fully armor your mounts for battle. However, we’ve listed the locations of all the Saddlery shops in Crimson Desert, along with the unique saddle each one sells.
Saddles increase your mount’s defense by 10 points. Camels and Kuku birds get a bigger boost – their defense increases by 20. The quality and stats of a saddle are consistent, no matter where you purchase it.

Hernand Saddlery Location & Inventory
- The Hernand Saddlery can be found just a short walk north of the Hernand Town gate.
- You’ll find Annabella here, with whom you can interact to purchase the Wolf Saddle and the Bear Saddle.
Equinsher Saddlery Location & Inventory
- Head north of the Howling Hill Camp, or southeast of Hernand Town, to reach the Equinsher Saddlery.
- Bruna can be found here, who sells the Wolf Saddle and Deer Saddle.
Calphade Saddlery Location & Inventory
- Castle Calphade is liberated in Chapter 6 of the Main Quest, and afterward, you can find the Calphade Saddlery at the Calphade Training Field, which is north of Calphade itself.
- This is where you can speak with Driana to purchase Kuku Bird Saddles and Bear Saddles.
Demeniss Saddlery Location & Inventory
- Demeniss will be hostile until after Chapter 8 of the Main Quest, but you can still run in and try to purchase these saddles while the guards chase you down. The Demeniss Saddlery is in the north district of the City of Demeniss.
- When you speak with Fiona, you can purchase Deer Saddles and Kuku Bird Saddles.
Pailune Saddlery Location & Inventory
- The Pailune Saddlery requires you to complete Chapter 7 of the Main Quest. After, you’ll find the Saddlery in the north district of the Pailune Camp.
- Speaking with Eldred at the Pailune Saddlery will let you purchase Bear Saddles and Ibex Saddles.
Deleysia Saddlery Location & Inventory
- Head south of the City of Delesyia, and you’ll come across the stables at the Eastern Hills.
- It’s here where you can find Randelle, who will sell the Warthog Saddle.
Tommaso Saddlery Location & Inventory
- In the Tashkalp region of the Crimson Desert, you can find Tommaso. Head to the eastern district of Tommaso to find the Saddlery.
- Alima can be found at the Saddlery, and you can purchase the Giant Iguana Saddle here for both the Green and Red Iguanas.
Varnia Saddlery Location & Inventory
- Varnia is located in the furthest northeast area of the entire map, and might take quite the journey through the Crimson Desert and the Trader’s Expanse to reach. When you make the journey, you can find the Saddlery in the southwest district.
- You can find Zara waiting for you here, who sells the Embroidered Camel Saddle.
