In ARC Raiders, ARC Performance Steel is a material you can find by looting bigger ARC machines or the first wave of husks. While it’s not very useful on its own, you can recycle it for Metal Parts or sell it for coins. You’ll need to collect it specifically to complete the ARC Trophy Display project, so here’s a guide to help you find ARC Performance Steel in ARC Raiders.
How to Get ARC Performance Steel in ARC Raiders
ARC Performance Steel is a valuable item in ARC Raiders that you get by defeating tough enemies like Leapers, Bastions, and Bombers. You can also find it by looting Baron Husks, but it’s less common that way. To get this item consistently, it’s best to focus on taking down the larger ARC enemies first.
Leapers
Leapers are among the simpler, larger enemies in ARC Raiders to defeat for ARC Performance Steel. These spider-like creatures have only one attack: they use rocket boosters to leap onto players and deliver a powerful pulse attack.
IMage via Game Rant Players can quickly defeat Leapers by throwing two or three Blaze Grenades at them. Fire is a major weakness, and the Leaper will quickly start to burn and then be destroyed. After defeating a Leaper, be sure to search its remains for a chance to find ARC Performance Steel.
Bombardiers
Bombardiers are tough enemies in ARC because of their powerful, long-range missiles that can quickly destroy your shields. Watch out for nearby Spotter drones – if they lock onto your ship, it means a Bombardier is about to fire a missile.
The fastest way to destroy a Bombardier is to throw two or three Trailblazer Grenades at it. These grenades deal a lot of damage and will quickly cause the Bombardier to start smoking. If it’s still moving after that, finish it off by shooting the yellow joints on its legs.
Before you search a downed Bombardier, toss a Smoke Grenade to protect yourself from being attacked by enemies from behind.
In ARC Raiders, players can earn a special, powerful weapon – the Kinetic Converter – by donating 10 ARC Performance Steel.
