In the game *Blue Protocol: Star Resonance* by A Plus Japan, skills are essential for everything from collecting items and battling enemies to summoning objects. A particularly helpful skill is Phantom Dash, a Terra Resonance ability that allows your character to unlock hidden chests throughout the Asteria Plains.
These chests are protected by wind walls, and the Phantom Dash is required to break through them. This guide will show you how to unlock and use Phantom Dash in Blue Protocol’s Star Resonance.
How to Get Phantom Dash in Blue Protocol Star Resonance
To unlock Phantom Dash in *Blue Protocol Star Resonance*, you’ll first need to get Terra Resonance. Then, head to the Asteria Plains and activate the Wind Core at the top of Towering Ruin.
Terra Resonance is a game feature that allows you to gain abilities from certain objects by interacting with them. You unlock this ability at level 17, which you’ll reach as you play through the main story and finish quests.

Once you’ve completed those tasks, go to Andra Resting Post – it’s a teleportation device created by the Bapharian Divines and clearly marked on the Asteria Plains map. Activate the wind tunnel to the right of the teleporter, then use the wind current to reach the top of Towering Ruins.
Reaching the Wind Core can be challenging, as you’ll need the Float ability to get there. For a detailed walkthrough, check out this guide.
Once you’re at the Wind Core, simply interact with it to get Phantom Dash.
How to Use Phantom Dash in Blue Protocol Star Resonance
Once you unlock the Phantom Dash ability, you can use it to quickly move around, especially to break through wind barriers protecting treasure chests. To add Phantom Dash in *Blue Protocol Star Resonance*, equip it in a Terra Resonance slot. You can find this by opening your skills menu (from the side menu), selecting the last icon, and then dragging the Phantom Dash skill into an available slot.
To do this move, press E while you’re running. On a computer, you run with the W key, so you’ll need to press W and E at the same time. After using it, there’s a brief wait before you can use it again, whether you’re fighting or just trying to move quickly.
