In The Sims 4‘s Royalty and Legacy pack, swordsmanship is a key skill. Sims in the realm of Ondarion constantly practice and demonstrate their skills through duels and tournaments. Players can find better swords in a few ways, including discovering the legendary Simcalibur – a sword stuck in a stone, much like King Arthur’s Excalibur.
This guide explains how to locate the Simcalibur and what you need to do to successfully pull it from the stone. Be careful – repeated failed attempts can have negative consequences, so it’s best to be well-prepared.
How to Find the Simcalibur in The Sims 4
Simcalibur Location
In The Sims 4, you can find the Simcalibur sword in Ondarion’s Verdemar district. It’s located in the town square, near the beach, directly in front of the Ye Olde Voyager building.
Players need to read the prophecy and the story of Simcalibur before trying to pull the sword. To obtain Simcalibur, players must understand the prophecy’s meaning and make sure their Sim fulfills all the necessary requirements.
How to Get the Simcalibur in The Sims 4
Simcalibur calls for a skilled and loyal warrior, someone masterful with a sword and eager to take on a quest. A kingdom needs their leadership, a place where the people are trusting and supportive. However, if this warrior doesn’t prove themselves worthy, the sword will unleash a terrible power.
-The Legend of Simcalibur
According to the prophecy, only a Sim who is well-respected by everyday people and skilled with a sword can obtain Simcalibur.
To pull the Simcalibur sword from the stone, your Sim needs to be a skilled swordsman – specifically, at Swordsmanship Level 8 – and be highly respected by the townspeople, earning the title of Champion of the People. You can only achieve this if your Sim has the Noble career. If your Sim tries to pull the sword without meeting these requirements, they risk losing their current status.
After a Sim pulls the Simcalibur from the stone, other Sims can check it to see who is currently the owner. Whoever wields the sword can return it to the stone whenever they want.
Players can ride the Simcalibur or simply carry it with them. Using it allows them to duel other players or activate its glow, which gives a happy mood boost. If a player isn’t already a kingdom leader, they can also use the Simcalibur to become one.
