Once you unlock the farm in Crimson Desert, your first job is to plant an apple seed for Kamu’s Request. You’ll need to nurture that seed into a tree and then harvest the apples it produces.
Growing apples in the game takes a considerable amount of time, but players aren’t told how long it will take. It’s also unclear if they need to take care of the seeds – like watering or fertilizing – to help them grow. Here’s an explanation of the process.
How to Harvest Apples in Crimson Desert
Kamu’s Request
Once you plant apple seeds, it takes 4 days in the game (8 hours in real time) for them to grow into a fully-grown apple tree that produces fruit. You’ll see a small bush sprout on the third day, but you need to wait the full 96 in-game hours before you can actually harvest any apples.
You can pass the time in Crimson Desert by resting in a bed or by a bonfire.
When your apple tree is full of apples, simply go up to it and pick them. Giving these apples to Kamu will finish his request and earn you a Medium Bag (which gives you 3 extra inventory spaces) and 50 Greymane Contribution Points.

How to Unlock Field Sprayer and Fertilizer Sprayer Recipe
Apple trees don’t need watering or fertilizer to grow and produce fruit the first time, but it will help them grow faster. If you want a second harvest, though, you’ll need to water the trees.
You can automate watering and fertilizing your crops with the Field Sprayer and Fertilizer Sprayer. You’ll automatically learn how to craft these during the “Beyond the Silent Waves” quest for the Vellua Fishermen’s Guild, which becomes available in Chapter 5 of the main story.
You can also speed up unlocking these recipes by watching farmers near Demeniss. Keep an eye out for those using mechanical water sprayers in their fields.
Once you have the recipe, you’ll be able to craft these items at any Smithy.
