You’ll unlock this ability in the mid-game by climbing the Spire of Clockwork and solving the Riddle Square puzzle in the Wanderer’s Way Abyss. How to Unlock the Wind Element (Storm Veil) in Crimson Desert

Climb the Top of the Spire of Clockwork & Complete its Puzzle

In Crimson Desert, you can unlock the Storm Veil element by reaching the top of the Spire of Clockwork and solving its puzzle. However, you’ll need to beat the final boss of Chapter 8, Blood Coronation, to get the key that allows you to enter the Spire in the first place.

After obtaining the Spire of Clockwork key, players can travel west to the spire itself. The goal is to power up the spire’s gears, enabling Kliff to climb to the top using them. Reaching the top unlocks an Abyss Gate, which will transport players to the Wanderer’s Way area within the Abyss.

Solve the Riddle Square Abyss Puzzle in Wanderer’s Way

The Riddle Square is the first puzzle you’ll encounter in the Wanderer’s Way Abyss area of Crimson Desert. After being teleported here from the Spire of Clockwork puzzle, you need to walk down the hallway and connect the Axiom Force to the panel to turn on the big fan.

To finish the Riddle Square challenge, players need to turn on a fan, then glide over it and fly through a series of rings. It’s a race against the clock, so speed and accuracy are both important!

Okay, so I just finished the Riddle Square flight challenge, and all I had to do was use the Force Palm on that circular thing to solve the puzzle! It actually unlocked the Storm Veil element for me in Crimson Desert – so cool!
