Ice Cradle Puzzle Walkthrough in Crimson Desert

Once you finish the Altar of Solitude, you’ll reach the Ice Cradle – the last challenging puzzle in this series. You’ve already earned great rewards from the Lightning Surge in the Courtyard of Precision, but this final puzzle will likely be the toughest one yet.

Good news! The Ice Cradle puzzle isn’t as difficult as you might think. We have a simple, step-by-step guide below to help you finish the challenging Abyss journey. Find the solution right here!

How to Solve the Ice Altar Abyss Puzzle in Crimson Desert

  • As you enter the ice floor section, take the immediate right and head down the snowy stairs into a cave.
  • Slide to the bottom of the cave and head northwest (through to the right) and follow the linear path, where you will find 5 nodes.

  • You will need to hit the yellow nodes with Blinding Flash (L1+R1+L1) in a specific order, which we’ll showcase below and in the image above.
  • 5-1-2-3-4-5-1-1.
  • Inputting the code in the order we’ve listed and shown will activate this section of the puzzle, and all nodes will now be blue.

  • Turn around and head through the wall to the right, where you will then face south and find an ice wall.
  • Climb the ice wall with Triple Force Palm, and you will find a cylinder battery that can be slotted on the west wall once you Force Palm it into place.
  • Head through the passageway at the north wall and take a left, where you will find the Abyss platform, which is still inactive.
  • You can finally activate the puzzle by connecting the loose wire that’s just before the Abyss platform at the south wall (pictured above).
  • After, you can Force Palm the Abyss platform to activate the puzzle and get your Abyss Artifact.

You can keep going through the Ice Cradle Abyss, and eventually you’ll find a teleporter that leads to the Root’s End Ruins. If you get stuck, we have a solution to the puzzle there to help!
