LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight features gameplay and an open world heavily inspired by the Batman: Arkham series. This allows players to explore a significantly bigger Gotham City than they could in past LEGO games.
Like the Arkham games, LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight has a large, connected open world. The main story missions are designed like self-contained levels packed with enemies, puzzles, and items to find, and some even let you play with a friend! Because of this structure, it’s easy to miss collectibles the first time through. But don’t worry – you can replay missions! The guide below will show you how to unlock and use the replay feature.
How to Unlock Mission Replay in LEGO Batman Legacy of the Dark Knight
Yes, you can replay missions, but it’s connected to how far you are in the story. Once you finish the opening and begin the first chapter as Batman, you’ll unlock the Tricorner area of Gotham. Throughout this chapter, you’ll find various missions to complete, as well as collectibles called WayneTech Caches hidden throughout the city.
You’ll unlock the ability to rewatch completed missions when you begin the second chapter. You can quickly progress through the first chapter by concentrating on the main story, or you can explore Gotham, collect items, and stop crimes to get the complete Batman experience.
Starting with chapter two, players can explore the Batcave and gain access to new features. These include a Garage to buy and customize vehicles, and a Wardrobe where you can view and equip all the suits you’ve unlocked.
Back in the Batcave, go to Batman’s computer. You can replay missions you’ve already finished from there. The computer also shows how many collectibles you’ve found in each mission, which helps you find anything you might have missed.
