LEGO Batman Legacy of the Dark Knight – Mimes Collectibles Walkthrough

In LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, Batman and Catwoman cross paths for the first time in Chapter 2 during the “Mimes” mission. This mission is packed with collectibles! You can find 5 Cat Heads, 5 WayneTech Caches, and 1 Red Brick hidden throughout, and we’ve mapped out exactly where to find them all.

Mimes Collectibles Overview

Collectible Objective Location
WayneTech Cache #1 Look for a way out. Turn right after the first cutscene and use Catwoman’s whip under the portrait.
Cat Head #1 Look for a way out. Look to the back-right corner of the office after the first room.
WayneTech Cache #2 Find the elevator. Grab the key from the desk on the left with the security cameras and open the locked door behind you.
Cat Head #2 Find the elevator. There’s a large room with enemies, and the Cat Head is on the statue.
Cat Head #3 Look for a way out. After the elevator, go upstairs and turn around to find this Cat Head in a vent.
WayneTech Cache #3 Look for a way out. After the ambush room, smash the box on the right side of the room to find a vent.
WayneTech Cache #4 Find a way past the doors. Use Catwoman’s Whip on the Pets Store sign, then Batman’s Batclaw to pull down the WayneTech Cache.
Red Brick #1 Find a way past the doors. Opposite the Pets Store, connect the plug to the TV and use the arrows to get the Red Brick on screen.
Cat Head #4 Look for a way out. In the front-right corner of the same room filled with enemies.
WayneTech Cache #5 Look for a way out. Complete the piano puzzle in the left room.
Cat Head #5 Look for a way out. Look above the Shrecks sign, behind the way forward.

WayneTech Cache #1

  • After the mission’s opening cutscene, look to the right wall to find a painting.
  • You can use Catwoman’s Whip on the yellow screws to loosen the painting and reveal a WayneTech Cache.

Cat Head #1

  • After entering the second room, you can look to the left corner to find a Cat Head that can be destroyed.

WayneTech Cache #2

  • Once you open the room containing two Mimes and security cameras, you will want to immediately look to the left and destroy the desk to find a Key.
  • Pick up the Key and head back out of the room you just entered to unlock the room behind you, which contains a WayneTech Cache.

Cat Head #2

  • Inside the large room with the enemies and the elevator, you can find the Cat Head resting in the statue’s hand.

Cat Head #3

  • After the elevator, climb the stairs on the right, and once you reach the top, turn around to find a Cat Head inside one of the tunnels.

WayneTech Cache #3

  • There’s a large room with enemies waiting to ambush you. Once you’ve cleared out the area, head to the right side fo the room to destroy a box that reveals a secret vent.
  • Enter the vent, and then use Catwoman’s Call Kitty ability to go through the smaller vent, and press the button to open the shutter.
  • With the shutter door now open, you can enter inside and push the cart forward to grab the WayneTech Cache.

WayneTech Cache #4

  • Continue through the mission until the way forward is blocked, and look to the left to find a Pets Store.
  • Use Catwoman’s Whip to open the shutters, and then use Batman’s Batclaw inside to pull down a WayneTech Cache.

Red Brick #1

  • Opposite the Pets Store is the Gadgets Store, and you can plug in the wire by the red arrows into the TV to activate the screen.
  • You need to jump on the arrows to guide the green kitty on the screen to the bottom right to the red square while avoiding the orange dog that only moves up and down.
  • After you grab the red square, a Red Brick will spawn.

Cat Head #4

  • You can continue through the mission, where you will eventually enter a large room filled with enemies, including giants.
  • Once all the enemies are defeated, look in the back right corner to find the Sports Goods Store, where the Cat Head is hiding above.

WayneTech Cache #5

  • After the combat encounter, head to the room on the left to find the Music Store. It’s here where you can stand on a red button to watch a piano sequence.
  • You need to jump on the piano keys in the order that they appear (which we’ve highlighted above). Doing so will reveal the WayneTech Cache behind the curtain.

Cat Head #5

  • The final Cat Head is further through the mission, where you will be tasked with building something.
  • Instead of building something in the center of the room, turn around and look up to find the Cat Head.

All Mimes Collectibles Rewards

  • Collecting all 5 Cat Heads rewards you with the Cat Head Batcave Trophy.
  • You can also get the Feline Red Brick to change your outfit colors to white.
