Following successful sets from franchises like Super Mario Bros. and Animal Crossing, this upcoming building kit, expected in 2026, is already generating a lot of excitement among fans.

Talk about a LEGO set based on Ocarina of Time started in September 2025, when a supposed leak revealed it would include a 1,003-piece diorama featuring Ganondorf. The rumor also predicted a March 2026 release, making fans expect an official announcement by the end of 2025. Now, a new teaser for the upcoming LEGO set appears to confirm those early reports, even though specific details haven’t been fully released.

Legend of Zelda LEGO Set Coming in 2026

A new preview video for the LEGO Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time set reveals a Link mini-figure with his famous Hylian Shield and Master Sword, accompanied by music from the game. A blurry figure in the background, likely Princess Zelda with her signature blonde hair and pink outfit, is also visible. The video’s caption, a quote from the villain Ganondorf – “Do you realize who you’re dealing with?” – strongly suggests the set is based on Ocarina of Time. This line is spoken during a key battle in the game, confirming previous expectations that the new LEGO and Nintendo collaboration will include content from this classic title.

As a huge Zelda fan, I was so excited to see it show up in the LEGO Game Boy set! They included cool lenticular pictures and brick-built game cartridges featuring Link’s Awakening and Super Mario Land. And it reminded me of that older LEGO kit with The Great Deku Tree from Ocarina of Time – it’s clear Nintendo and LEGO really love that game and keep drawing inspiration from it!
