Line in the Sand Quest Guide in ARC Raiders

The recent Riven Tides update for ARC Raiders introduces a beautiful new coastal map. It’s packed with dangerous enemies, but also offers great rewards for players who enjoy the extraction shooter gameplay.

This update doesn’t just focus on the beach. It also includes new quests that continue a story arc from the last update.

Let’s quickly go over this new task so we can get back to searching the beach. We need to get those boats sailing!

Prerequisites

To begin this adventure, you must first finish the “Last Entry” quest. This quest became available with the “Flashpoint” update.

This quest doesn’t involve any fighting, so you can leave most of your weapons at home. You’ll be doing a lot of running and moving around, though, so it’s a good idea to bring some Adrenaline Shots and maybe a small shield to stay light and agile.

Derailed Train

This task can be tricky, as the clues often aren’t helpful in guiding you to the solution.

First, make your way to Marano Station. Once there, follow the train tracks southwest until you locate the derailed train. Just entering this area will finish your first goal.

The Lookout

Now, you’ll need to figure out who committed the robbery. It’s not immediately obvious who’s responsible, but don’t worry – the evidence is nearby!

Walk northeast from the train station, and you’ll see a small lookout tower rising from the sand. It’s located just northwest of the Piazza Roma Tag on the game map. When you reach the tower, interact with it to find a Marano Market Business Card – be sure to pick it up!

Pieces of the Past

Okay, so the game isn’t exactly holding my hand, huh? No clear directions again. But hey, at least I grabbed that business card – maybe that’ll give me a clue where to go next. Time to take a look!

Although Buried City doesn’t have a functioning market, you’ll find the remains of one in the northeast area, labeled ‘Market Ruins’ on your map. Just go there, and the quest will automatically update as you get close.

Underground Secrets

I was informed there was an apartment building close by, but the exact location wasn’t immediately clear. It took me a bit of searching, but I eventually found it.

Just northeast of the Market Ruins, and right above Dune’s End, you’ll see a small, abandoned building. Go inside to find a zip line that takes you down into an underground area. Once you’re down there, find the pile of stacked boxes and take a picture of them. After that, you can head back to Celeste whenever you’re ready.

Rewards

For completing this quest, you will be rewarded with the following:

  • 2x Exodus Modules
  • 2x Magnetic Accelerator
  • 2x Magnetron

That’s a surprisingly good reward for such a quick task! The Exodus modules and Magnetic Accelerators are essential components for crafting.

You can use the Magnetron to complete the Snap and Salvage quest, or you can break it down for more Magnetic Accelerators. Plus, you can sell it for a good price!
