- Monster Hunter Outlanders has set the date for its second closed beta
- Those who signed up will explore the new region of Aesoland
- Not to mention fighting new Radiant species and enjoying new features, like barbecuing
The Monster Hunter series is always somewhere between a huge popular success and a dedicated fan favorite. It often feels more like the latter, especially considering its unsuccessful movie adaptation. Regardless, the core Monster Hunter gameplay is now coming to mobile devices with Monster Hunter: Outlanders.
Great news for those who signed up for the second closed beta! It’s officially launching on April 29th. Get ready to explore the brand new world of Aesolad, discover unique Radiant species, and enjoy the fun BBQ feature to keep your adventurer well-fed.
Monster Hunter: Outlanders is different from other mobile Monster Hunter games like Monster Hunter Now. Instead of using virtual or augmented reality, it delivers the classic, full action-adventure experience – complete with all the weapons, equipment, monsters, and features that fans expect.
Auslander
I’m particularly interested to see how Monster Hunter Outlanders turns out. And while I don’t have access to the closed beta myself, I’m sure plenty of news and player feedback will leak out over the testing period.
It’s always been challenging to bring popular console or PC games to mobile devices. Phones and tablets typically have less processing power and limited space for on-screen controls, making it a tough platform. Hopefully, Outlanders will successfully capture the fun, world, and action of the popular Monster Hunter series!
