Zoro has mastered all three types of Haki, though he’s still learning to fully control one of them. Sanji is also rapidly improving and could soon develop the same advanced Haki abilities.
Zoro and Sanji are already strong enough to fight powerful opponents like the Admirals and even the Emperors of the Sea, and their potential for growth only makes them more formidable. This makes them one of the most powerful pairs in the One Piece world, and their strong teamwork and mutual trust are key to their success.
How The Luffy – Loki Alliance Surpasses The Straw Hat Commanders
The Elbaf arc of One Piece revealed a partnership even more powerful than Luffy’s previous strong team, the Wings of the Pirate King: Luffy and Loki. Though first presented as an antagonist, Loki has become an ally to Luffy, helping him fight against the World Government. After Luffy liberated Loki, they traveled to Sun World and battled the Holy Knights and Imu. The combination of Luffy’s Gear 5 and Loki’s Nidhoggr abilities proved overwhelming, allowing them to quickly defeat even a powerful Gunko created by Imu.
While Zoro and Sanji are incredibly strong, they haven’t reached the same level of power as Luffy and Loki. Both Luffy and Loki are stronger than most Yonko, and Zoro and Sanji are still developing their abilities. Although they have a lot of potential, there’s a significant gap between their current power and that of Luffy and Loki, whether it’s in strength, speed, or Haki. The famous pair from Elbaf are simply far more powerful than Zoro and Sanji.

Why The Elbaph Arc Will Force Luffy’s Wings To Grow Stronger
Watching Zoro and Sanji, it’s clear they still have a lot of potential to unlock. I have a feeling the events of the Elbaph arc will be a huge boost for both of them. Zoro’s determined to surpass Dracule Mihawk, and Sanji is on a quest for the All Blue – a goal that, honestly, seems just as challenging as finding the One Piece. Both of these ambitions are incredibly huge, really matching the drive we see in the Pirate King himself. I fully expect to see their Haki develop significantly in the Final Saga, and I wouldn’t be surprised if they both eventually become true masters of Conqueror’s Haki.

The story suggests that by the series’ end, Zoro and Sanji need to reach a similar power level as Luffy, and this arc will be crucial in achieving that.
