Overwatch Reveals Season 2 Features, Mythic Skins, and Surprise Diablo 4 Crossover

Overwatch has announced its next big update, Season 2 of Reign of Talon, called ‘Summit’! It introduces Sierra, a brand-new hero, along with a seasonal event called Grand Mesa. Players can also look forward to a unique Mythic skin for Soldier: 76 and a Mythic weapon skin for Genji. The update will also include content from Diablo 4: Lord of Hatred. Building on the changes made when Overwatch relaunched earlier this year, this update promises to continue delivering exciting new experiences.

2024 has been a fantastic year for Overwatch so far. The launch of Reign of Talon Season 1: Conquest on February 10th brought major changes to the game, including an updated user interface, ongoing storylines, and five new playable characters, with more heroes being added each season. They even simplified the name to just Overwatch. This relaunch has been incredibly popular, with the game reaching record numbers of concurrent players on Steam and other platforms.

Overwatch Reign of Talon Season 2 Major Features

The next season of Overwatch, called Season 2: Summit, is launching soon. It picks up after Talon’s raid on Grand Mesa, where they stole something important from Helix Security. This season also introduces Sierra, a new damage-dealing hero for Overwatch, along with a variety of other new features.

Overwatch’s Reign of Talon Season 2: Summit has a lot going on! The Grand Mesa event lasts until May 4th, and with Diablo 4: Lord of Hatred coming out on April 28th, we can expect a crossover in Overwatch around the same time. A bigger update is planned for May 12th or 19th, bringing with it a celebration of Overwatch’s 10th anniversary and a new, special Mythic hero skin.
