Battlefield 6 Downplays The Franchise’s Most Important Tradition
For me, what always makes *Battlefield* special isn’t the vehicles, large battles, or even good sniping – though I do enjoy those things. It’s the way players work together to achieve the objectives. As someone who often finds themselves focused on winning in games like *Call of Duty*, it’s great to see teammates communicating in chat, offering encouragement to capture points or sharing strategies for defense. I thought *Battlefield 6* would really emphasize teamwork, especially since they used the phrase ‘PTFO’ (Play To Fight Off) in their marketing. But surprisingly, some of the game’s design choices seem to actually discourage that kind of cooperative play.
