Okay, so Delphox is seriously cool. It’s the final evolution of Fennekin, and it first showed up in Pokemon X and Y. It’s a Fire and Psychic type, which is a really awesome combo. Honestly, it’s one of my favorite Fire starters because it looks amazing and hits hard with its special attacks. I mean, it can learn moves like Flamethrower, Psychic, and Shadow Ball – it’s a powerhouse! I think it’s easily one of the strongest fully evolved Fire Pokemon out there.
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Trainers Can Get a Free Delphox Now
After the Chesnaught event, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet players can now challenge and catch a special Delphox. This powerful Delphox is appearing in Seven-Star Tera Raid battles in various locations across the Paldea region. You’ll have until 6:59 PM Eastern time on May 7th to add it to your team. To participate, you first need to finish the main story of the game and complete several Five-Star Tera Raids to unlock the Six-Star Raids. Once Six-Star Raids are available, the Seven-Star Raids – and Delphox – will start appearing in the game.

In Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, the challenging Seven-Star Tera Raid bosses are always level 100 and appear with their Tera Type active. For example, Delphox the Unrivaled is a Fairy-type Tera Raid boss. Interestingly, its Magician ability doesn’t work during the battle, making it slightly easier to defeat. While Fairy-types are normally weak to Steel and Poison, Delphox can use moves like Fire Blast and Psychic to resist its own Fairy-type weaknesses. Other moves Delphox uses include Dazzling Gleam, Magic Room, Will-O-Wisp, and Nasty Plot. The battle with Delphox the Unrivaled always begins with it using Dazzling Gleam.
Delphox Can Be Obtained In Other Ways
Pokemon with the Flash Fire ability, like Heatran, Armarouge, and Ceruledge, are effective against Delphox. Trainers who defeat Delphox in its latest Tera Raid battle will receive the Mightiest Mark. However, if you already caught Delphox in a previous Tera Raid, you won’t be able to catch it again. If you miss this opportunity, you can still obtain a Fennekin by purchasing the The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC. Fennekin can be found in The Terarium and evolves into Braixen at level 16, and then into Delphox at level 36.

Players of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet can now transfer their Delphox to Pokemon Legends: Z-A and Pokemon Champions using the Pokemon Home app. In Pokemon Legends: Z-A, Delphox can Mega Evolve, but you’ll need to earn a Delphoxite by participating in Ranked Battles. Season 10 of Ranked Battles in Pokemon Legends: Z-A is happening now and ends on May 13th, so if you want to get a Mega Evolving Delphox, be sure to join in quickly!
