Pokopia Player Builds Jaw-Dropping Wailord Cruiser

A talented player in the online game Pokemon Pokopia has built a massive ship designed to look like the Pokemon Wailord. Though still under construction, this impressive creation will eventually feature complete interiors, allowing all the Pokemon to live comfortably inside.

Released in March 2026, Pokopia quickly became a hit, earning praise from both fans and critics. Many considered it a successful new direction for Pokemon, similar to Animal Crossing, and reviews highlighted its charming atmosphere, detailed building options, and engaging gameplay. The game has sold incredibly well, proving that The Pokemon Company’s venture into the life simulation genre was a smart move. Looking back, Pokopia feels like a natural extension of the Pokemon world, and developers Game Freak and Omega Force deserve recognition for taking the chance and executing it so well.

This Pokopia Cruiser Looks Just Like Wailord

A Reddit user named Strinister has built an incredibly large ship in the game Pokopia that strongly resembles the Pokémon Wailord. Even though Wailord isn’t officially in Pokopia‘s in-game encyclopedia, it’s now part of the game thanks to this impressive creation. Other players were amazed by the ship’s size, with one playfully commenting that they were only building small upgrades to their own base. Strinister also shared the ship’s detailed design plans, showing its multiple levels.

The construction isn’t quite done yet. Strinister says they’re finishing up the outside, just adding the final details. Once the exterior is complete, they’ll begin working on the interior, which hasn’t been started. The plan is to create living spaces for Pokémon, including rooms, hallways, and a kitchen. We’re hoping Strinister will share more updates as the build gets closer to being finished, because what they’ve done so far is already amazing.

Pokopia is a game all about letting players express their creativity and build amazing things on their islands. Since it launched a couple of months ago, players have created some truly impressive builds. One dedicated player even spent 30 hours recreating Rainbow Road from Mario Kart, showing just how much freedom the game offers and how players can celebrate the things they love. With so many people playing, we’re sure to see even more incredible creations from the Pokopia community in the future.
