CrossWorlds is planning to offer a free trial of the game later this month, allowing players to test it out.
On September 25th, Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is set to debut, creating quite a stir with its collaborations, such as SpongeBob Squarepants, and subtle nods to Mario Kart.
Players who are undecided about purchasing the game, as well as those bursting with anticipation for its release, will get a chance to try it out within a few short weeks.
Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds Open Network Test Starts August 29
At Gamescom, a sneak peek of the Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds booth might have inadvertently disclosed some extra information when it showed an ad for the forthcoming network test, which was swiftly detected by SonicAndre2.
The poster invites racers to join us in a competition, as it announces the commencement of the Open Network Test on August 29, which concludes on September 1. The test can be accessed on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, personal computers (PC), and Nintendo Switch.
Details regarding the specific content to be featured during the Open Network Test, including the tracks and characters that will be accessible, were not disclosed. However, we can expect more information at Gamescom, where it appears that a comprehensive display for the game has been set up.
Tonight, during Gamescom Opening Night Live on August 19, there’s a good chance for updates on Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, as we already learned quite a bit about it at Summer Game Fest earlier this year. However, if no new information is revealed tonight, more details are expected to be shared in the following days.
