The Lord of The Rings: The Rings of Power Season 3 Gets November Premiere Date

Okay, so I just heard the news – Season 3 of The Rings of Power is officially coming out on November 11th, 2026! And it’s not going to be all at once, they’re releasing episodes weekly after the first one drops. A long wait, but I’m already marking my calendar!

Amazon announced the show’s incredible popularity, revealing it has attracted over 185 million viewers globally since its debut.

Amazon has revealed that the third season of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power will begin several years after the end of season two. The new season starts during the peak of the war between the Elves and Sauron, who is working to create the One Ring. This powerful ring will allow him to dominate Middle-earth and control all its inhabitants, ultimately securing his victory in the war.

I’m so excited for Season Three of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power! It’s being made by J.D. Payne and Patrick McKay, who are really leading the charge as showrunners and executive producers. They’ve got a great team helping them out too, including Lindsey Weber, Justin Doble, Kate Hazell, and Charlotte Brandstrom, who’s also directing. Matthew Penry-Davey is producing, and Ally O’Leary, Tim Keene, and Andrew Lee are co-producing. It’s all happening over at Amazon MGM Studios, which is awesome!

We don’t have a trailer for the new season yet. Amazon has only released a single photo of Sauron.
