Mitsuru Kirijo is the first character I think of when I recall Persona 3. She’s a prominent figure throughout the series, appearing not only in the original game but also in expansions like Persona 3 FES, Persona 3 Portable, and Persona 3 Reload. She even shows up as a playable fighter in Persona 4 Arena and its sequel. As the daughter of the head of the powerful Kirijo Group, Mitsuru is incredibly intelligent and serves as student council president at Gekkoukan High School. Importantly, she founded and leads the Specialized Extracurricular Execution Squad (SEES). This role is vital because her family’s company inadvertently created the Dark Hour – a hidden time filled with dangerous creatures called Shadows – through their experiments.

In Personal 4 Arena, she teams up with both the Shadow Operatives and the Investigation Team to defeat Sho Minazuki and uncover the source of the P-1 Grand Prix incident. Her special ability is freezing opponents, which immobilizes them and makes them vulnerable to attacks.

But Pac-Man’s impact went far beyond gaming – he became a major part of popular culture, appearing in animated shows, on products, and even in music. His simple design proved video games could appeal to everyone, not just dedicated players. Even today, Pac-Man is one of the most famous symbols of the video game world.

Doomfist

My favorite thing about Doomfist is his ultimate ability, Meteor Strike, where he launches into the air and slams down on a target area, causing a lot of damage. In Overwatch 2, they’ve changed his role from a damage-dealing hero to a tank. This means his abilities now emphasize staying alive and disrupting the enemy team. He has more health and a new ability called Power Block that lets him reduce incoming damage. While some of his attack power has been lowered, he’s much better at initiating fights and protecting his teammates.

King II

King II focuses more on defense than offense. He doesn’t have a long reach, and many of his attacks can leave him vulnerable if they miss or are blocked. Therefore, playing King effectively requires careful movement, understanding your opponent, and timing your attacks perfectly. Players who are too aggressive with him often get punished.

King II often uses a series of throws that can inflict a lot of damage if they all land successfully. These throws need accurate timing and understanding of the game, but skilled players can block them by anticipating the pattern.

Tom Nook

I know some people think he’s a bit of a capitalist, but honestly, the game just wouldn’t be the same without him. He’s a core part of what makes Animal Crossing so special.
