There’s been so much talk about ratings and money, it was getting worrying! It sounds like Season 3 is where things really start to pick up – the first two seasons were all about setting the stage and introducing everyone, but now we’re finally getting into the stuff I’ve been waiting for. Apparently, they’re going to start seriously dealing with the forging of the One Ring, which is obviously a massive deal. This is going to change everything for characters like Galadriel, Elrond, Durin, and especially Sauron – it’s going to raise the stakes big time!

The Rings of Power Didn’t Make the Best First Impression Amongst Lord of the Rings Fans

Tolkien’s original work. However, the reaction to Season 2 was much more positive. The first season only received a 38% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes, but Season 2 improved to 58%. Many viewers particularly praised Charlie Vickers’ portrayal of Sauron and noted that the relationships between characters were much better developed.

Season 3 promises to be even better than Season 2, with a grimmer storyline, significantly more action, and the large-scale battles fans have been hoping for.
