Looking at the Xbox Game Pass games planned for June 2026, it’s clear there isn’t a major, story-driven single-player RPG currently announced. While next month’s selection still has a good mix of games, RPG fans have had more to enjoy in recent months than they will with the upcoming lineup.
Xbox Game Pass is a subscription service that gives players access to a huge collection of games on PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S for a single monthly price. The games available change regularly, and many people believe it’s the best deal in gaming. With so many different titles, there’s usually something for everyone to enjoy.

2026 has been a fantastic year for role-playing games on Xbox Game Pass. The service started strong in January with Final Fantasy 1, then added Kingdom Come: Deliverance, Avowed, and The Witcher 3 Complete Edition in February. March continued the trend with Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, Cyberpunk 2077, and Disco Elysium: The Final Cut. April brought Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, Final Fantasy 4, and Oblivion Remastered, and in May, players enjoyed Final Fantasy 5. It’s been a great time to be an RPG fan on Xbox Game Pass, and hopefully, this continues with another big release in June.
Xbox Game Pass subscribers have a lot to anticipate for the rest of the year, even with several confirmed games yet to receive release dates. Titles such as Fable, Gears of War: E-Day, and Halo: Campaign Evolved are expected to launch directly onto Game Pass, and we can expect even more great games to be announced as 2026 goes on.

Xbox is going through a period of change following Phil Spencer’s retirement in February 2026. Asha Sharma has taken over as CEO and is planning some big shifts for the company. One of her first actions was to lower the price of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, saying it had become unaffordable for many. This also means new Call of Duty games won’t be available on the service on launch day anymore, but most players have reacted positively to the change. While Sharma’s leadership seems promising, it’s still uncertain if Xbox can keep up its recent success.
